Why fixed pricing
A drafting mistake costs lakhs in disputes. A correct draft costs a few thousand rupees. The maths has never been the problem; the opacity has. When a founder cannot see the price of a shareholders' agreement without a sales call, they postpone it, download a template, and inherit its gaps.
So we price the way software is priced. Every document has a number on it. The number is the price. If your matter is genuinely more complex than the standard scope, we tell you before we start, never after.
Pricing questions
No. Stamp duty is a state levy that varies by document and state, so it is billed at actual cost with the receipt attached. The drafting fee itself is fixed.
Any change within the original scope: wording, clause adjustments, party details, commercial terms. A new document type or a second agreement is a new order, and we will say so upfront.
For Instant documents, at order. For Drafted documents, after a short intake call confirms the scope, before drafting begins. Counsel is billed monthly in advance.
Counsel covers unlimited standard documents from the catalog. Bespoke work such as an investment round or an acquisition is quoted separately, with Counsel members getting priority and preferential rates.
